What is the USMS Tracker?

The USMS Tracker is a knowledge repository designed to collect information related to the National Defense University's (NDU) Student Management System (SMS).

How do I navigate the USMS Tracker?

The tabs across the top will take you to the main components of the Tracker. Currently, Data Dictionary is available. Requirements, Risks, and Issues will come online soon.

The Data Dictionary block provides links to views of the elements of the data dictionary. Start here to locate fields, field labels, tables, table clusters, and system components.

Why do I need to sign in to the USMS Tracker?

The tracker not only helps us keep track of the information related to the SMS, it tracks everyone's contributions to it. You will have the opportunity to update the information in the tracker and/or provide feedback about the knowledge objects in the tracker.

What are comments?

Comments are one of the ways you can provide feedback on the knowledge objects in the tracker. Simply enter text in the comments field and submit the comment. Other users will reply. Use comments to let us know about information that is incorrect or requires clarification.
